The first phase of the new seven-storey building at Mavelikkara District Hospital, developed under the leadership of INKEL, was inaugurated on 12 March 2026. The project is aimed at bringing modern medical facilities and improved treatment infrastructure to the people of the region.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Hon. Minister Mrs. Veena George, while the OP section was inaugurated by Hon. Minister Sri. Saji Cherian. The new facility is expected to strengthen healthcare services in Alappuzha district by ensuring state-of-the-art treatment facilities for patients.
